The winning blogger is Julie, who wrote the blog below:

Julie says:

I currenlty live in De Pere and like to try new restaurants as they open. Keeping the business local helps the economy and maintains a good balance of options available in the area. But beyond that I would love to celebrated Valentines Day with my husband at The Cellar on the Fox. The menu looks wonderful, and the extras included in the Valentines day package are exceptional. A romantic evening out and away from my day to day routine would be awesome!

Congrats Julie! Thank you to everyone who entered. Julie please contact rtownshopper.com, we will also contact you via email. Thank you.

Is it bad luck to be the first person to post? Wow! I would love to spend valentines dinner away from our two little boys eating something other than their favorite (macaroni and cheese).
Even though i have to work all valentines weekend, it would be so nice to have an evening out. Maybe ignite a little of the intamacy we had before two rugrats exhausted us day in and day out.
Anyway, Thanks! Rtownshopper for providing discounts and helping keep business local! Especially those spa and massage gift certificates-they really come in handy for a girls’ afternoon or a destress with my husband.

Best of luck to everyone whom enters! and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

I would love to win this – I’ve never been to The Cellar on the Fox – it would be a great way to try it :) ! RTownShopper rocks!

  3. Mark Hubert says:

I have been meaning to go to dinner there for a few weeks now. What a great reason to get in there and try them out!

  4. Sondra says:

    What a “sweet” giveway!

  5. Sharon says:

Our daughter’s birthday is the day before Valentine’s Day, and the year she was born was the best Valentine’s Day of my life. But since then, we spend so much time planning her birthday celebration that we don’t plan anything for ourselves for Valentine’s Day. We will have family in town that weekend, so it would be a great opportunity to go to dinner and celebrate us.

  6. Melanie says:

This would be amazing!! I’m a poor college student. :o )

  7. maribeth says:

What great replies, I want all of you to win! We’ll be picking the winner on February 3, stay tuned…

  8. David says:

Sweet you guys rock! This would be a great gift to win and would be very greatful.

  9. maria says:

Great promotion! Getting deals is the height of thoughtfulness in my book. If my husband takes me out to eat as a treat and then tells me he has a coupon or a half price certificate I just go weak in the knees. :)

  10. Richard says:

The “Cellar on the Fox”===what a Sweet Deal!!!

  11. Julie Smith says:

My husband and I are going to a couple’s retreat during the day on Valentine’s weekend. Winning this awesome certificate would top our night off with good food, wine, and flowers. I couldn’t ask for anymore of a romantic weekend then that!!

  12. maribeth says:

OK, I have to laugh at that one!

  13. Janice says:

Cellar on the Fox would be a wonderful place for a Valentine’s dinner. My husband and I are celebrating 3 years of marriage (second, and last, go around for us both)! We would LOVE to combine the two events and go all out at the Cellar. Thanks for the opportunity to win this!

  14. RJ says:

I would love to take my boyfriend out for a nice dinner, he’s been so great! His birthday was last Friday and it was supposed to be my last day at work (lay off). However, my 15 year old dog had been sick and was worse in the morning. I took her into the vet who said they couldn’t do anything for her. I took the day off to spend with my dog before I had to put her to sleep the next day. He was so supportive and rescheduled the family dinner even though his sister flew in for his birthday. His exact words were “there are more important things, it’s just a day, we can celebrate another day.” I think he deserves a nice dinner out.

  15. Carel says:

I would love to win a dinner out with my wonderful husband for Valentine’s Day! Even with 2 of our kids out of the house, we still have one at home with whom we normally ‘celebrate’ Valentine’s Day. So, a nice romantic evening with just the two of us would be great! Thanks for the opportunity RTown!

  16. Kathy says:

I love RTown. You are the best!!

  17. Kathy says:

  18. Terry says:

My wife will be 33 weeks pregnant on Feb. 13th, and this would be a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her. We also have a 2 year old daughter, and we don’t get the chance to go out and have some “us” time as much as we’d like. Thanks RTownShopper!

  20. Suzanne Keranen says:

In the 19 years that my husband and i have been together we have never been able to go out for Valentines Day. At this time in our lives together it would be one of the greatest things to come about. With a son who is graduating this year and a 4th grader there is so much going on in our lives that we forget about the two of us and how this all started…smiling. To add a touch of romance with a dinner out and would be sure to rekindle that romantic Valentines flame. We would love to win this fabulous contest.

  21. Michelle Rukamp says:

I would love to take my husband out to dinner at Cellar on the Fox for Valentines Day. What a great way to celebrate 31 years together.

  24. Renee Popp says:

    Valentine’s Dinner + New Restaurant = A Great Time!!

  26. Cindy says:

Thirty-four years ago this month my husband proposed to me and it would be a great way to celebrate our engagement anniversary romantically dining at The Cellar on the Fox. This seems like the complete package…well almost!

  29. Kim Krull says:

I would love to win this as it is my Birthday and it would be nice to have a great meal a little romance with my husband….Having dinner with a touch of class.

What other reason can I give to have the chance to win this…me and many others in the same situation–husband been laid off-my birthday-chance to get away -something seldom done and a great new restraunt. I would be forever gratful

  30. Jill says:

I would love to spend a wonderul “romantic” dinner with my husband. I would love to try your restaurant, we haven’t been there yet.

  31. Connie Wendt says:

My husband is such a hard worker. He is always doing for everybody except himself. I would love to show my appreciation to him with a night out on the town. He serves it!

  32. Lynnette Kopetsky says:

Can you believe in over 10 years my husband and I have never gone out for Valentines Day? How amazing it would be to have an excuse to take some time for each other and remember what the day is supposed to be about!

  33. Rachel Disterhaft says:

It sounds lovely. I will admit though that I was a bit confused at first. “The Cellar on the Fox” is the type of name you’d give to an upscale restaraunt, yet the menu looks more local diner-style. I like the menu, but the prices on some of the daily specials are missing :( I’d be willing to ‘give it a go’ if it was an establishment local to me, but alas, it is not. You’re off to a good start though…I wish you luck. I know if I’m the lucky winner, the hopefully stellar review would be posted as soon as I’d finished eating.

  34. Pam says:

    Pick Me———Please

  35. Richard Marion says:

OK – of COURSE I would like to win! My wife & I are going on 16 years. Last few have been a little tough. Laid off from my job at 53 years old, took a long time to find another viable line of employment. Have not had much opportunity to treat my beloved to a special night. This would fill a void…..

  36. Karen says:

I would love to be able to take my sweetheart to DePere for diner…….we need a night away from the husstle and bustle of everyday in the up north woods!

  37. Sarah F says:

WOW what a great giveaway. Could definately use a night out from our two babies! I love this site- what a fabulous money saver. We probably wouldn’t eat out without the certificates.

  38. Jodi V says:

I love this site! Great way to have time with my sons doing fun things while saving money! Thank you so much!

  39. Brenda says:

I am no different than anyone else; I would greatly appreciate a night out with the love of my life (of 23 years). With the economy, it is difficult to justify a night out when bills needs to be paid. My husband would be so surprised if we were to win a night out.

  40. Julie G says:

I turn 50 this year and after many years have finally found the man that gives true meaning to Valentine’s Day. I would love to spend this special day with him at The Cellar.

  41. Lynn says:

How exciting!! A chance to win a prize!!! This restaurant sounds just like our kind of place….and since I usually work on Valentine’s Day (but this year have off) it would be a double deal for us…. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. :) Thank you for adding a little spice to our daily lives!

  42. cork says:

Wow my boyfriend and I would love to try someplace else for valentines dinner. We have been going out for some 20 yrs and would love a romantic dinner

  43. Tracy says:

My boyfriend and I will be celebrating our six month anniversary as well as Valentine’s Day. I have been trying to think of something awesome and romantic for us. This would be perfect!

  44. Laurie says:

I have lived in East De Pere for over 12 years. I brought my mother-in-law to The Cellar on the Fox within the last 2 weeks. She is one that well, Likes what she Likes. So, needless to say, we usually go where she wants when we do lunch together. I made sure we were in E. De Pere when lunch time came around so we could go to The Cellar on the Fox. She absolutely LOVED it… and coming from her that is another word for HEAVENLY. She loved every last bite and so did I. It is a quaint place where you can relax and have a good time. I am very excited to hear about the live music! Now that my girls are finally getting a little older, my husband may be able to take me out on a “REAL DATE”. I would say my birthday – FEB. 13th – would be an excellent time to schedule said Date. This place is not your same old, same old, restaurant. It is wonderful place with awesome waitstaff, EXCELLENT FOOD & Great Prices. If I win or not, I will definitely be back! Have a Great Day all you FOX!

  45. T.T. says:

It’s true… Laurie set me up to go somewhere new. We went to The Cellar On The Fox recently for lunch. I Loved It! Great place! Great Food! Great Service! Great Bar set-up! Yes, we will be back! Laurie, I am glad I have a daughter in-law like you!
