Baseball will always be America’s pastime and we’re very lucky to have in Northeast Wisconsin the Minor League Brewers Affiliate- Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The Timber Rattlers have been gaining a lot of press lately, especially with the new deals on RTownShopper.com. - To allow the businesses who participate on our site the opportunity to moderate the extreme discounts used to garner new customers.
When researching other discount certificate sites, we found that featuring one discount certificate a day created many problems for the business as well as the consumer. Imagine yourself as the owner of a nail salon and you employ 2 other estheticians. To drum up some business, you decide to sign up with a company that features your services, a manicure/pedicure on their site for $30 – normally priced at $60. Your company is the only feature for 24 hours. Within 24 hours, 2,000 people buy a discount gift certificate to your salon. That same day, one of your two employees has to cancel her afternoon appointments just to answer the phone. Nine hundred people call  that afternoon, many complaining that the line was busy for hours. You now find yourself overbooked and understaffed with half of your profit from the 2,000 certificates sold going to the service you used to promote this discount.

If you spend $25 we’ll bump up the rewards to 250 points, spend $50 and we’ll go all out and gift you with 1,000 points, add $25 to that $50 and you’ll earn 2,000 points. Hey big spender, spend $100 and you’ll be rolling in the points with 3,000 big ones.
What do these points mean, you ask? Accumulate points to earn money towards future RTown purchases. Once you earn at least 6,000 points you can use them to make a purchase. Get this! When you sign up with us, as a token of our appreciation, we’ll give you 5,000 starter points. That means purchase a discount gift certificate on our site for at least $50 and you’ll have enough points to start redeeming them.
For example purchase a discount golf certificate, like the fabulous Black Bear Golf Course and you’ll earn 1,000 points which will bring your total up to 6,000 points.
Once you reach 6,000 points you can use those points to purchase a discount certificate that is equal to or less than $6 on the site. Our best advice is to wait until you’ve racked up enough points to play a round of golf on us, get a massage or even a nice dinner with your honey.
