We have stayed here a couple of times the night before doctor appointments in Milwaukee. It is a fine place to stay. The front desk clerks have been very friendly and helpful. The rooms are your standard Baymont Inn, Super 8 rooms. My husband found the beds very comfortable and he is hard to please. The walls are your standard popcorn ceiling and textured walls. The bedspreads are maroonish. Some reviewers say it is 80ish but I personally like the colors. The room was quite large and has a small table with two chairs in addition to a dresser and desk. They have a breakfast area with cereal, milk, juice and make your own waffles. The microwave is available 24 hours a day for heating your own food in. The hotel is located a couple of blocks off I-43 and Silver Spring Drive near the Bayshore mall on Milwaukee's north side. It is a little inconvenient to get in and out of because of the divided street but it is directly across the street from several restaurants. We will stay here again on our next trip to Milwaukee.
Drove by when we were in the area for something else to check exactly where it was located. Did not like the location. I went in and asked if I could view a room. The room was very outdated. The hallways, reception area, etc was not clean. We would not recommend. Glad we checked this place out ahead of time. We did not use the certificate.
This hotel is very conveniently located, right off of Highway 43, north of Milwaukee. It is just down the street from the Bayshore Shopping Center. The room was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and polite. There is a really nice breakfast offered, as well, with waffles, cereal, fruit, and yogurt, as well as coffee offered all day. :)
We were down for a Milwaukee Brewers game, so for a group of four us to crash & grab breakfast, we couldn't beat the price! The breakfast was just ok. The staff could have been friendlier.
My husband and I stayed here on a Tues night. Although the location was good we would not stay here again. I think there are people that live there that stay up and party all night making alot of noise. Finally at 1130 I called to complain and the front desk clerk said she could not tell where the noise was coming from. I think she was afraid to confront them. At 1230 we packed up our stuff and went to check out. They moved us to another room which was a little queiter. At 5 am when we got up there were still people making noise and hanging out in the parking lot. We were in town for medical testing and when we told the nurse about our stay she said other patients had similar complaints and she was going to check into having the hotel removed from the list of the hospitals recommended places to stay. Although it was clean if you plan on getting any sleep.....stay somewhere else.
The area the Baymont is located has several restaurants within walking distance. The area seemed safe. The room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Coffee was available all day. We would stay here again.
Room was not very clean, tiles on bathroom floor were falling out when you stepped on them. Would not stay again.
All i know is that it wasn't THAT bad. The location was good for me, close enough to the university and walking distance to the mall. Nothing fancy but it felt clean enough and they had waffles in the morning. Like i said it was good enough. The desk clerk was very nice in the evening the morning people left a bit to be desired. GOOD ENOUGH
