Terms & Conditions

1. TERMS OF SERVICE: Prior to creating a member account and prior to each purchase you make on RTownShopper.com, you are presented with these RTownShopper.com Terms & Conditions and YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, FULLY UNDERSTAND AND HAVE GIVEN YOUR APPROVAL TO BE FULLY BOUND BY THEM.

2. ALL SALES ARE FINAL: RTownShopper.com makes no warranties on products or services for the Merchants who are offering certificates on our website. RTownShopper.com does not provide refunds or exchanges on certificates. It is your responsibility to read certificate details/restrictions carefully. You also understand some certificates may not be for the full amount of the product/service.

3. MEMBERS AGREE TO ONLY CREATE ONE ACCOUNT PER HOUSEHOLD: This means you agree to create and use only 1 account for all members of your family, including spouse, that live together at the same address. Each member of the family will not create an account and/or multiple accounts to get around certificate lockout periods (See Section 4c). You further understand that doing this will cause you to lose your membership in RTownShopper.com.

4. TERMS OF USE FOR CERTIFICATES:

(a) All certificates must be printed online: After purchasing certificates they will be emailed to you and links will be available in your Member’s area to print them.

(b) You agree to make and use only 1 copy of each certificate: Each certificate is printed with a unique redemption code that allows the merchant to verify the certificate’s authenticity. You agree not to print and try to redeem multiple copies of the same certificate.

(c) Certificate lockout periods: When purchasing a certificate on RTownShopper.com your Members area will lock you from purchasing the same certificate for a period of 90 days unless otherwise specified. In section 3 of this agreement you agree not to create multiple accounts to get around this lockout period.

(d) Certificate expiration: Unless otherwise specified, certificates for products will expire 60 days from the purchase date and certificates for services will expire 365 days from the purchase date. Exceptions will be clearly noted on the certificate detail page. Expired certificates have no value and can’t be extended.

(e) The entire certificate must be used in one visit (no change back): In the event that the full value of the certificate is not redeemed, no change or credit will be given.

(f) Not valid with any other offers: Certificates may not be used with any other discounts, coupons or offers.

(g) Restaurant certificates are limited to one per table: You agree not to separate your party to use multiple certificates.

(h) Merchants may collect sales tax: Merchants may be required by law to collect sales tax at the time the certificate is redeemed.

(i) Gratuity/Tip is not included: The price of the certificate doesn’t include tips for servers, salon employees, etc. You agree to pay gratuity (typically 15% to 20% of the final bill) separately.

(j) Certificate offers are subject to change: RTownShopper.com may at any time change the price and details for certificates offered on the website.

(k) Contact RTownShopper.com to resolve certificate issues: You can contact us through the Contact Us page.

(l) You agree to respect the merchants: You agree not to take advantage of the Merchants participating by trying to cheat the system in any way. You agree to pay all due taxes and tips without issue.

5. PAYMENT FOR CERTIFICATES: All certificates must be purchased online at RTownShopper.com by using 1. Credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover) or 2. RTown Points if you have earned enough in your account to make the purchase. RTown Points are earned based on minimum sales amounts and by promotions.

6. MEMBER ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member you create an account using your email address and a password to access it. Members agree to use a password that is difficult to crack. Members are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their username and passwords. Members agree to notify RTownShopper.com immediately of any unauthorized use of the Member’s account or any breach of security known to the Member.

7. LIMITATION AND LIABILITY: In no event shall RTownShopper.com, affiliates, or suppliers be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the products, on RTownShopper.com, RTownShopper.com services or these terms and conditions (however arising, including negligence), including lost profits, whether or not the possibility of such damages was, or could have been, known. The liability of RTownShopper.com, affiliates, and suppliers, and the respective employees, to you or any third parties in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid by you for the product purchased hereunder. By utilizing RTownShopper.com, you agree to these terms and conditions. Buyer agrees that all sales of merchandise offered through RTownShopper.com constitutes a sale under applicable Wisconsin law with jurisdiction and venue solely and exclusively in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. RTownShopper.com reserves the right to suspend or cancel participation privileges of any individual found to be in violation of any of the above general conditions.
